Our data protection policy

At World Trade Center Stockholm AB ("WTC"), we work in a structured way to process personal data correctly in accordance with current legislation. We collect different types of personal data depending on your role (customer, website visitor or other) and have therefore chosen to divide the information below into different situations.

Visitors of the WTC website and recipients of newsletters

WTC has developed its web services to inform about news and market its services. We compile certain visitor statistics for our websites, see information on Cookies.

WTC sends newsletters to our customers from time to time. We use names and e-mails to administer the sending of the newsletters. You have the right to unsubscribe from these mailings at any time.


When you leave a booking request on the WTC website

When you fill in a booking request in our web form, we process your personal data to be able to contact you regarding your request. The data is saved as long as the request is current and is then cleared on an ongoing basis. If you, who submits the request, are employed by a company, we process the data based on a balancing of interests. If you are a private person, the data is processed so that we can fulfill our commitment to you to respond to the request.

 

My company/employer is a customer of WTC

WTC collects information about customers and their employees to the extent necessary to manage the customer relationship and fulfill our obligations as a supplier. The personal data we process includes name, e-mail, telephone number and address as well as other information that you as a customer/employee of a customer choose to provide when we are in contact with each other, for example in connection with bookings. The data is processed with the support of a balancing of interests and is saved as long as there is an ongoing customer relationship and for a period of 3 years thereafter.

 

My company/employer is a supplier to WTC

WTC collects information about contact persons employed by its suppliers to the extent necessary to manage its business relations. The personal data we process includes name, e-mail, telephone number and address. The data is processed with the support of a balance of interests and saved as long as there is an ongoing business relationship and for a period of 3 years thereafter.

Transfer of data

The data may be disclosed to authorities in accordance with what is prescribed by law, to possible partners who deliver support services to WTC, e.g. IT services, in the manner and to the extent required for WTC to be able to fulfill its commitments.


Transfers to third countries

WTC strives not to transfer data to a country or company located outside the EU/EEA. Should there still be a need for such a transfer, WTC will, in accordance with current data protection legislation, take adequate protective measures to best protect our customers' personal data.

 

Your rights as a registered user

When WTC collects and processes your personal data, you have certain rights. You have the right to:

  • Request an extract of the personal data WTC processes and how they are processed
  • Request correction of any incorrect information
  • Request to be deleted. However, this can only be carried out provided that WTC is not entitled to retain the data on any other legal basis
  • Request that processing be restricted under certain circumstances, e.g. in the meantime, a matter of whether information is correct or not is being investigated
  • Under certain circumstances use the right to data portability.
